Week III- Homework
I'm going to talk about my portait. it's something special to me.
My portait brings back a record of my travel in NEW YORK
first, my portait was painted at NEW YORK. last year, I was at New York. When I got around Manhatten alone, I found a artist who paints somebody's portait by receiving money on the street. 'Could I get a portait in caricatures for me?' I asked her ,and then I sat on a chair to be able to paint a portait for her on the street. after that, I got my portait from New York to my home ,and my family laughed at my portait in caricatures. it makes me laughing.
second, I met the artist again at ICNY. The ICNY is a unique volunteer-driven community where immigrants, refugees, students and other newcomers to the United States come to practice English and learn about American culture. I and the artist were member a ICNY. but we didn't know before. anyway, we talked to each other and we had the process of spending time to become friend.
Third, it's one of them to buy while traveling at NEW YORK. it's what a special souvenir to me. I spent 11$ for a portait. It's not expensive to have your portait.
So, it will be great mementoes of how i stayed at NEW YORK. if you have the chance to visit NEW YORK, I recommend that you have your portait.
kkk,,I don't know a artist who paint your portait. but it's very similar to your face. kk,, I really want to go to Newyork city. If I go to there, then I also ask him to paint my portait!! It's a funny picture!!
